About the artist
Samuel Hale
Samuel Hale, also known as Chase Sharp, is an Ozarks muralist whose work centers on portraiture, historical scenes, wildlife, culture, regional landscapes, and large public-facing walls. He is rooted in the Ozarks and draws inspiration from the forests, communities, stories, and working landscapes of the region.
Outside the wall itself, Samuel’s interests in gardening, hunting, history, Native American history, and the many cultures that have shaped the region influence the subjects he is drawn to paint. Portraits and historical scenes are approached as a way to make people stop, look, and remember; wildlife and landscape work comes from the same connection to place.

Samuel’s murals and public-art projects have appeared across Northwest Arkansas, Missouri, and nearby communities, with documented work in Kansas City, Rogers, Fayetteville, Pea Ridge, Bentonville, and other locations. He also travels for selected projects when the wall, story, schedule, and budget are a good fit.
